Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is usually the reason folks go to Zimbabwe, but it shouldn’t be the only reason. The country continues to have domestic problems but those problems will not hinder nor inhibit your safari experience in this wonderful country. South of the Falls you will find Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s flagship park. The “Big Five” are found in residence there. This Park is Zimbabwe’s equivalent to Kruger Park in South Africa.
Farther South still, outside Bulawayo, is Matopos National Park home to a large rhino herd and bushman rock art.
At the very bottom of the country located on the Limpopo River, which forms the border with South Africa, is Sentinel Ranch. This property is part of the Greater Mapungubwe Trans Frontier Area incorporating three countries, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa.
