Ngorongoro Crater Lodge †††††

Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania’s Wildlife Masterpiece $$$$$

OK, so it’s Mother Nature’s masterpiece, it’s spectacular never the less.  Such a unique place deserves a lodge that can match the Crater’s grandeur and it has one.  Crater Lodge features a truly unique architectural style that’s somewhat hard to describe on the outside but easy to describe on the inside.  Each room is a suite with spectacular views into the crater.  The rooms are adorned with graceful antiques, elegant teak paneling, and African treasures.  There are always fresh roses in the giant bathrooms that feature huge showers and chandelier lit bathtubs.  The silver and crystal dining experience turns each meal into a special occasion.  Staying here is a very special experience and may even equal or exceed your experience on the Crater floor.

Ngorongoro Crater is home to the “Big Five” African species along with herds of plains game.  While you will see copious game you will also see abundant other travelers sharing the game viewing.  It is a World Heritage Site, and one of the Wonders of the World and definitely worth a visit in conjunction with other game viewing destinations.
