Sabi Sands Exquisite Lodge on the Sand River $$$$

The lodge is comprised of only eight guest cottages, all with private plunge pools, with both indoor and outdoor showers and adjoining sitting areas off the bedrooms.  It’s magnificently positioned overlooking the Sand River which means you don’t even have to be on a game drive to see the animals.  Delicious Pan African foods, along with great wines, are served in a variety of dining venues.  This property is all inclusive for local brand beverages and wines.  If I were designing a lodge, this would be my blueprint.  It has risen to the top of my all time favorite lists.
