Cape Town the African Safari Gate Way
Cape Town is an excellent starting point for your Safari. No other city on the African Continent can match up to this city's spectacular beauty along with the many activities that are available. You should plan on spending at least three days here. Here are but a few of the things you can see and do on day tours that are private and fully guided.
A word about our resident guide Glen Christi. She spent 14 years in Washington, DC, so she knows American tastes. Couple that with her extensive knowledge of the Cape and her warm personality and you have the perfect guide to introduce to Cape Town.
The Cape of Good Hope: The ride to the Cape takes you along the beautiful and picturesque coastline. From the point you can see where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. The best viewing is from the top, accessed from a ride on the venicular cable car. Along the way you will have a chance to stop at Simon's Town and view, up close and personal, a penguin colony.
The Wine Lands of Cape Town produce outstanding, and now world renowned, fine wines. The beautiful and historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek shouldn't be missed, even if you aren't into wine.
Table Mountain is a great place to see the layout of Cape Town, and of course the panoramic views are spectacular.
Other Activities: Great white shark diving viewing them from a safe cage, to playing golf on spectacular courses. There is a lot to see and do in Cape Town, and we can arrange it all.

Property Comparisons:
In order to distinguish between properties we have rated them for amenities, style, level of service, and ambiance. This is to give you a reference of how we think they rate against the others properties listed for a particular destination. They are all lovely properties that we have stayed in and can highly recommend, so there is no bad or wrong choice.
The more +'s we give a property, the higher it ranks against other properties for that category and is useful only for property comparisons. This is not the same as a "Star Rating" system for properties and hotels given out Tourism Organizations' or Government rating services.
